Atmos Energy representatives are shown with the pickup that Atmos donated to the City of Petersburg on November 11th, 2014. The City of Petersburg had requested assistance from Atmos for a vehicle and the donation will be a tremendous help to the City.
According to City Manger, Ron Heggemeier, the vehicle is now the best vehicle in our fleet for the Public Works department. The City Manager explained that because of limited funds the City is not in a position to purchase new vehicles and the donation of the pickup will go a long way in serving the citizens of Petersburg.
The City Manager went on to state that the City is sincerely appreciative of the donation from Atmos and says it goes a long way in showing the good things that corporate partners do when dealing with local governments. Too often our corporate partners do not get the thanks they deserve for the things they do to help our local communities.
